Karey Keel-Stidham, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Karey grew up in Bellingham, and moved to Orcas in 2004 with her husband Scott Stidham. Karey’s grandparents were early residents here and she was lucky enough to inherit a piece of the property that they purchased in 1915, where her dad was born and raised. Karey and Scott have a small farm and love being island residents.
Having been a boat builder for more than 25 years in the Bellingham area, Karey spent some time as a physical therapy patient which sparked her interest in the field. In 2007, Karey went back to school and graduated with honors in 2010 from Whatcom Community College with her AAS Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She has had experience working in acute care and home health for Island Hospital, and currently works for Life Care Center of San Juan Island part time, and here at Orcas Island Physical Therapy as needed.
