Scott grew up in Bellingham, graduating from Sehome High School. He studied music at Western Washington University and then transferred to Whitman College. At Whitman he earned his BA in Music Performance with a minor in Chemistry. He studied physical therapy at the University of Southern California and graduated in their inaugural DPT class in 1998.

Scott returned to the Pacific Northwest to practice physical therapy in the outpatient setting. He started working in Sumner, WA before transferring to his home town of Bellingham. He directed Northwest Physiotherapy Associates there prior to joining Orcas Island Physical Therapy, PLLC in June, 2006. Scott has a strong interest in the treatment of vestibular disorders and orthopedics.
